Q-tip Painting – A Fine Motor Activity

“Fine motor skill is the coordination of small muscles, in movements – usually involving the synchronization of hands and fingers – with eyes”.

Q-tip Painting Activities are made with fine motor development in mind (helps develop a good pencil grip)

Use Q-tips and Paint.

Provide students with a paint tray and q-tips. Demonstrate an example to show that the circles have to be stamped using a q-tip as a painting tool.

The activity in complete when all circles have been stamped.
